The newly renovated SQUARE is situated on the Mont des Arts (Kunstberg), a cultural area flecked with green in between the world famous Grand Place and Le Sablon, well known for its antique shops and cosy terraces.

SQUARE will rejuvenate the unique architecture of the ‘Brussels Palais des Congrès’ that was built for the 1958 World Exposition. The building contains authentic wall paintings by famous Belgian artists such as Magritte, Delvaux, and Van Lint, dating back to the 1960s.

After the renovation is complete in September 2009, SQUARE will present itself in a surprising new style. The international meeting centre in the heart of Brussels will be fitted with an exclusive, comfortable, and contemporary design. Special attention will be paid to multimedia, environment-friendliness, and safety.

The Congress venue is situated right next to Brussels Central Station, which grants you access to national and international train connections as well as metro line 1 (violet) and 5 (yellow).
